New York Fashion Week 2013 has officially kicked off today! While I am in anticipation to see my favorite designer’s creative works, I have found that the style on the street can be just as exciting. The trendsetters attending the shows wore chic interpretations of "modern vintage". Bright colored fabrics and unique patterns were just a few things used to personalize their look. The accessory of choice for many was the frame hand bag. This adornment originally became popular in the mid-twentieth century (1940-1960). Fortunately, the style has reemerged and will continue to accent femininity.
